Barton Creek Greenbelt in Bloom

Although we haven’t had any rain for a while the greenbelt is full of color. The meadows are full of black eyed susans, indian blankets, a yellow daisy like flower that I don’t know, plus much more. The Texas thistles are mostly gone but the horse mint (or lemon beebalm) is filling in for a splash of purple.

In the creek bottom wild petunia and turk’s cap is stating to bloom and the beauty berries have set so we may have a good display this year. Take a look at the photos below and let me know if I got any of them wrong or if you can identify any of those that I don’t know.
