Barton Creek Greenbelt Mile 8

Here’s the final 1/2 mile of the main greenbelt trail. This is the notorious Hill of Life, which is about 300 feet of loose gravel, steps, and ledges. There are several alternative ways up, including a nice single track that I point out near the beginning of the video. If you’re looking for a challenge this is a good one.

There are several trails that explore the canyon to the left of the trail. About 2/3 of the way up where the trail takes a hard left look for a trail to the right called Paradise. Follow it for great view of the greenbelt.
