Travis Country is Austin’s original environmentally sensitive development. Construction started in 1978 and the original development was mostly completed by 1983. Additional building commenced in 1995.
The result is a mix of older ranch style homes and newer open floor plans in a setting that features mature trees, plenty of greenspace, and access to Barton Creek.
Located in southwest Austin at the intersection of Mopac and Highway 290/71, this neighborhood is close to shopping in Sunset Valley and minutes from downtown Austin and the airport. Travis Country is a true south Austin gem. Click here or on the map to see what’s currently available in Travis Country.
