The Barton Creek Greenbelt

The Barton Creek Greenbelt main trail extends from Barton Springs Pool upstream for over 7 miles to the trail head at Campcraft road. There’s plenty to explore along the way  including caves, rock climbing and seasonal swimming holes.

This is a natural trail that can be rough in places and some of the side trails can be steep. Mountain biking is allowed, but the trail can be challenging for beginners in places.

The map below shows the location of the pubic trail heads. There is additional access from neighborhoods that border the park, but these are usually through private property and may be restricted.

Texas Cycle Werks – At Mopac and 290. Close to several trail heads including Mopac and Loop 360.
